Speech and Language Therapy
Free speech and language therapy for eligible young people with SEND, run by a speech and language therapist. Limited places.
We provide free, communication-focused speech and language therapy for eligible young people with SEND, run by a speech and language therapist. The emphasis is on practical support such as:
- Speaking with confidence
- Expressing thoughts and ideas
- Conversation skills
- Social communication
- Participating in groups
- Developing confidence when communicating with others
Places are limited and young people must meet the eligibility criteria. Places are allocated according to need and whether we can safely and appropriately support the young person. Registering interest does not guarantee a place; we will contact families once we have reviewed their child’s needs and availability.
Part of Inclusion After Hours, our free after-school youth programme for ages 10 to 18, funded by the Million Hours Fund Phase 3 (the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and The National Lottery Community Fund). It runs until the end of March 2027.
Families register interest for the youth club, speech and language therapy and English on one form.
